I am a resident of Stark County and currently serve the midwifery community as a Direct Entry Midwife. My primary objective is to obtain my CPM (Certified Professional Midwife) certification, as I am dedicated to addressing the disparity gap within the African American and underserved populations in my community.
In my role as the Health and Wellness Coordinator at Alliance for Children and Families, I am entrusted with providing comprehensive pregnancy support services. With over six years of experience as a birth and postpartum doula, I have developed a strong foundation in delivering exceptional care during this transformative period.
I hold a master's degree in Education, specializing in Family and Consumer Sciences, from the prestigious University of Akron. Additionally, I am a certified Family Self Sufficiency Specialist, with a wealth of experience in working with low-income and underserved populations.
By combining my professional certifications, academic qualifications, and extensive experience, I am well-equipped to make substantial contributions towards improving maternal healthcare outcomes and reducing disparities in our community.
